A TV show about “Insight“ a neurodivergent born-blind child who perceives all beings as sounds, shapes & heat, wreaking havoc on an accessible city with friends!

Iqsa is a Southeast Asian cosmopolite, ADHD + Autism, disabled, Writer-Director. They have a decade of experience in Hollywood and the Malaysian Entertainment Industry and two decades as a Girl Scout championing education through art and play. She lives by the Girl Scout motto "Be the change you wish to see in the world" and this permeates everything that they do.She is an experienced Casting professional who’s worked in Chicago, New York, and, Los Angeles for the likes of Nickelodeon, Netflix, Broadway, and Paramount. Encouraging disability, minority, and mindful representation in film and the audition room.She is a 2024 UNESCO x Planetizen University: Design Challenge Fellow. A proud Fellow of the 2023 RespectAbility Entertainment Lab in Los Angeles, NALIP’s Emerging Content Creator Scholar and also represented Malaysia in the 2019 Juliette Low Seminar at the New York Hub.Now diving back into their first love, animation (art) and games (play), to create their debut series Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe.

Cierra Rose Joseph is a SoCal native storyboard artist, writer, and vocalist with a psych degree. Her mission is to showcase new stories that center around ethnically diverse, neurodivergent casts in fantastical sci-fi settings.She was trained by Rad Sechrist (Dir. of Kipo) and Andy Cung (Dir. of Thao) in filmmaking and storyboarding. She was selected by Women in Animation and Rachel Richmond for the 2022 Spring Circle Production Management mentorship.Her passion for screenwriting and supporting her creative community continues in her current role as Co-host of the Black Writer's Room. Whether she is belting out Ave Maria in the shower or demolishing her siblings in a round of Super Smash Bros, Cierra Rose stays curious and creative.She was sold on both Insight’s PBU's fantastical concept rooted with a chaotically comical cast of characters and the creator's commitment to showcasing neurodivergent and disabled community.

Jonathan Dunston is an animator and illustrator from Indiana. He has produced animation for Purdue University and Habitat for Humanity, as well as directed the short film, Dodgeball Dork.He seeks to create engaging characters out of all sorts of creatures, the weirder the better. In his spare time, he likes to study wildlife and play point & click adventure games.Jonathan is working on Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe because he believes it provides a fresh minimally-explored perspective worth seeing (figuratively)...

Ryan Silva is a freelance 3D modeler, storyboard artist, and illustrator. Having always been inspired and influenced by film and animation, his passion is learning new techniques and ways to create art.He works on Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe because of his passion for independent projects, desire to represent communities, and drive to improve art skills.

Waleed Hettini is a 3D animator and illustrator who has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation and Game Development.His initial inspirations were the Jurassic Park and Godzilla films as he grew up watching them. Those moments as a child led to his passion in animation. Waleed approaches his craft with never-ending improvement in mind.Currently, he is 2D animating on ORANGU 10 STUDIO’s Sustainable Tinkers because of his specialization in animating creatures and passion for history.What there is to offer in Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe is the representation of neurodivergent communities. This teaches neurotypical audiences about the vibrant lives of the disabled community. The show is also about a country rarely represented in media. This allows us to embrace a different culture’s worldview.

Max Golding Wilkens is a British German animator and storyteller living in Berlin. After 3 years of studying at Middlesex University in London, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Animation and directed his own short film, The Litter Mermaid.He is known for his imaginative and quirky style of work and aims to create unusual and outrageous stories and characters in both still and moving images. Plus, to bring energy and a fresh perspective to everything he does.As an artist, Max has had professional experience and worked collaboratively with other artists on both film and TV projects in the UK, Germany, and America. After a faith encounter at the Annecy festival, he has started a new journey at ORANGU 10 on Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe after connecting to the show’s vision and thus wanting to bring the characters and their stories to life.

After being inspired by the works of Lego stop motion animation from a very young age, Isaac Cortes has made it his life's goal to make his own contributions to the world of animation.From 3D to stop motion, Isaac has wanted to explore animation in it's various forms and to dive into the incredible storytelling opportunities that are possible. Any opportunity to tell a story is an opportunity to share something truly unique.Isaac found himself compelled by Insight's Pitch-Black Universe as it is a great opportunity to work with many talented artists who are all committed to making a brilliant idea into something real. The world of animation possesses so many talented people and when you put such talent together, great things can happen.

Michael Daum is a composer, writer, producer, guitarist and DJ. He's been in 4 different touring acts, played countless music festivals, appeared in Billboard Magazine twice, produced video game music for the NBA, Shaquille O'Neal, WWE Wrestling and the NFL.He had a song on the FX show "Wilfred," and is a lifelong fan of cartoons. Michael enjoys composing all styles of music, whether for himself or outside projects. He's working on "Insight’s Pitch-Black Universe" because he thinks it is great art for a great cause.

Ashwin Gobinath is an award-winning professional musician, composer, audio engineer, artist and producer with an 18-year career in Malaysia. He has worked with notable artists and producers from across the region, earned a BA Honors Degree in Recording Arts from Middlesex University, UK, and gained significant experience at Astro Radio and numerous studios in KL.As a performer, he has played, toured internationally and collaborated with numerous artists and bands in KL, Thailand, Cambodia, China and USA, and also ventured into theatre and performing arts. Ashwin is also a contributing writer for MalaysiaKini and Aesthetics Magazine, and has scored, sound designed and mixed many award-winning feature films and games like ‘Vurdalak’, ‘Hungry Ghost Diner’, ’Geng Kubur’ and ‘Rhythm Doctor’ and producing movies, TV series' and fresh tracks for you!He founded the band 'Nadir' and his post house 'Nadir Studios,' participated in research and advocacy initiatives, and creates immersive visual & auditory art exhibitions, continually expanding his artistic endeavors. You can catch him performing at a festival around you or in his studio, crafting and mixing.Ashwin is working on Insight's Pitch-Black Universe because he relishes the opportunity to build a sonic world that showcases the enhanced auditory capabilities of the blind in a world that is overloaded with visual stimuli.

Kennedy Lewis is an artist, writer, and DEIA advocate with a special passion for marketing and all things soft and cute!She's interned with Nickelodeon Animation, mentored under DreamWorks' DEI Director, Morenike Dosu, and now works with the BRIC Foundation to break barriers in the entertainment industry, advocate for underserved communities, and amplify underrepresented voices.With a passion for telling stories that promote creativity and compassion, Insight's Pitch-Black Universe felt like the perfect adventure to share with the world to spread awareness of the diverse communities that exist and yearn to be explored!
